    Duo Authentication methods:

    Duo Mobile – With this preferred approach, you download an app on your mobile device. When you log in, Duo will send a message to your device asking you to confirm that you are indeed logging in. Available for your iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Android phone or tablet, Windows Mobile, or Android Wear.

    Duo Key Fob - A Duo Key Fob or "hardware token" may be used to generate a passcode. Duo key fobs may be purchased from Information Technology using this online form. The one-time cost per hardware token device is $23.00.

    Enroll a mobile device

    To enroll a mobile device for use with Duo (easiest method), the application Duo Mobile needs to be installed on your device. You may install it before or during enrollment. Use the following link or search "Duo Mobile" in your app store.

    1. At the USU login screen (for example, myid.usu.edu, after entering your username and password, you will be taken to the Duo “Add A New Device” screen. Select either mobile phone or tablet and press Continue

     

     

    1. If you're enrolling a smartphone, enter your device's phone number, verify that it's correct, and then click continue. Tablet users will skip this step.

    If Duo Mobile is not installed on your Apple device:

    2. Tap on the scan barcode button.
    3. Scan the barcode on your computer screen with your Windows phone.
